Biography
Landscape painter, etcher and aquatint engraver of landscapes. Most of his drawings were engraved by professional engravers, but he both drew and etched the plates for J. Boydell’s History of the River Thames, and these were then aquatinted by J.C. Stadler. He also worked on an album of experimental etchings c. 1793 which includes outline etchings for the Thames set.
