NASMYTH, Jane (1788-1867)

Biography

Eldest daughter and pupil of Alexander Nasmyth. Jane painted landscapes mainly of Scotland and the English lakes,in the manner of her father and teacher.

Exhibited RSA, and GI 1826-1866.
