Biography
Glasgow painter in oil and watercolour of landscapes, coastal scenes and seascapes. He painted mostly highland views and coastal scenes using the 'wet' technique in watercolour in the manner of Clouston Young. Influenced by the Hague school, he employed a subdued palette.
