Biography
Aberdeen painter in oil of portraits, figure studies, landscapes and genre. Trained Glasgow School of Art, London and Paris. Head of Glasgow School of Art 1914-34.Most of his landscapes were of coastal and pastoral subjects.
A prolific etcher.
